Fire Cupping

Many people are starting to catch on to the health benefits of cupping therapy. Thanks to superstars like Michael Phelps and Cameron Diaz, cupping has made its presence well known in mainstream media and is now being sought out at our wellness clinic here at ELEVATED HEALTH and WELLNESS.

Nowadays, most people get cupping therapy to remove muscle aches and pains by loosening up fascial/tissue adhesions. However, most people don’t know, or have forgotten, that cupping has been traditionally used to expel Cold and Flu symptoms.

For hundreds of years, cupping, as a traditional folk medicine, has been used by our grandparents to help treat upper respiratory conditions such as cough, bronchitis, pneumonia and other upper respiratory conditions. It helps by loosening up the congestion in the chest and lungs to eliminate the old stagnant pathogenic fluids. This allows for the free flow of healthy fluids to nourish the surrounding tissues.

This Fall Season, don’t let the virus or infection attack your body. Prevent that cough, cold and congestion from lingering. When you feel the first symptoms of cough, fever and body aches, make sure to book in to get your cupping treatment. Trust Me! Your immune system will thank you for it!
